Tele2 leases 20,000 sq m in Comcity

Tele2 is expanding its leased space in Comcity Office Park. The Russian telecommunications company signed an agreement with PPF Real Estate Russia for 5,150 sq m to enlarge its headquarters. As of now, Tele2 leases about 20,000 sq m at Comcity Office Park.

The first agreement was signed in Q3 2017, when the operator rented 14,000 sq m. The company moved to its new office in Q2 2018. In September 2018, Tele2 opened its flagship store at Comcity shopping gallery.

“The well-developed smart infrastructure of Comcity Office Park helps Tele2 to ensure prompt interaction between the headquarters and the Moscow macro-branch. This increases not only the speed, but also the quality of all business processes within the company. Our large modern office allows us to efficiently organize the working space, as well as to improve the recreation areas for our employees, which helps to maintain a high level of personnel involvement,” said Igor Zhizhikin, CEO, Tele2 Moscow Macroregion.

The head office and the Moscow office of Tele2 are located at Class A business center with a well-developed infrastructure. It houses a fitness center, restaurants and cafes, a supermarket, a co-working space, recreation areas, and a parking lot for 2,500 cars. The Office Park is located 350 meters from the Rumyantsevo metro station. Comcity's tenants include Rostelecom, Sistematica, Oracle, Coca-Cola HBC, 3M, Orion Group, Spectrum Brands and other major Russian and international companies.

“Tele2 is expanding its premises rented in Comcity Office Park by 40%, becoming the second largest among our tenants in terms of occupied space. This deal is an excellent example of how a mature project can contribute to business development of our corporate tenants. We are sure that Tele2 personnel enjoys the proximity to the metro station, a landscaped area and recreation spaces. All this in combination with comfortable working conditions definitely enables even more efficient activity of the company. We are really delighted by Tele2’s success in our Office Park,” said Alena Kudryavtseva, PPF Real Estate Russia’s Deputy Office Leasing Director.

In addition to the commissioned Alpha phase, the developer, PPF Real Estate, is also working on Bravo phase, with a total area of 91,000 square meters. The project is in the design stage now and will include two office buildings and a hotel managed by AccorHotels (Novotel brand). The total project area is 45 hectares.
